*Correction: In the September 2007 issue of Update, in an article entitled Commonly asked questions about life after treaty, the answer to the question What about taxes? may be read to imply that 100% of the income tax paid by First Nation and non-First Nation persons living on Treaty Settlement Lands will flow to the First Nation. The portion of the income tax from First Nation and non-First Nation persons that will flow to the First Nation is to be negotiated with the federal government outside the treaty.
