Nation Information:

Da'naxda'xw Awaetlatla Nation (formerly Tanakteuk First Nation) sits at a common treaty table with other members of the Winalagalis Treaty Group. Winalagalis comprises four First Nations — Da'naxda'xw Awaetlatla Nation, Gwa'Sala-'Nakwaxda'xw Nation, Quatsino First Nation and Tlatlasikwala Nation. The First Nation's traditional territory spans the north end of Vancouver Island and the Knight Inlet area.
